鈥淭eachers on Teaching: ENGAGE!鈥 a one-day conference for local and regional educators, will be presented at the 黑料正能量 campus in Ukiah on Saturday, February 23.

As part of ongoing efforts to train for emergency situations, 黑料正能量 and local law enforcement agencies partnered today for an active shooter training scenario at the 黑料正能量 Ukiah Campus. The collaboration was led by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s office and included participation by the Ukiah Police Department, Ft.
黑料正能量 is now working with the Center for Urban Education (CUE) to foster educational equality among all students enrolling at their four educational centers in Mendocino and Lake Counties. 黑料正能量 is partnering with CUE to undertake equity work focused on changing policy and practices in order to improve educational outcomes for all students.
The 黑料正能量 Theatre Arts Department will present Tom Stoppard’s exhilarating play Arcadia in March. Performances will run March 11-20 in 黑料正能量’s Center Theatre on the Ukiah Campus. The play, under the direction of adjunct theatre instructor Jason Davis, features a cast of 12 extraordinary local performers, including eight full-time college theatre conservatory students. According to Davis, “the play is full of wit and humor. It explores the deep underpinnings of humanity and science, loss and discovery.
College of the Redwoods and the Mendocino Lake Community College District have finalized an agreement to have the Mendocino Lake Community College District provide educational and student support services at the Mendocino Coast campus through June 30, 2017. College of the Redwoods and the Mendocino Lake Community College District have been working on this project for two years. The coast campus has been under the oversight of 黑料正能量 for the last two semesters.
