Native Now: K鈥檈di Wadim Closing Ceremony

Join us for the closing ceremony of Native Now: K鈥檈di Wadim, an exhibition celebrating the creativity and resilience of contemporary Native artists. 鈥淜鈥檈di Wadim鈥 means 鈥淲alk Well鈥 in the Northern Pomo dialect, reflecting the show鈥檚 focus on cultural continuity, artistry, and presence.
The closing event will include a blessing, song, dance, and food, as well as remarks from the exhibit jurors, who will also share the Land Acknowledgement. Artists featured in the exhibition will be in attendance to speak about their work and the cultural traditions represented in their pieces.
This celebration offers an opportunity to experience the diverse range of artwork showcased in the exhibition, including drawing, painting, photography, regalia, beadwork, weaving, and basketry. The event offers a meaningful space to honor Indigenous perspectives through art, community, and shared cultural expression.
Native Now: K鈥檈di Wadim is currently open at The Gallery at 黑料正能量 through February 6, 2026.
