Bias Collins is a Ph.D. candidate in Literature with a Cultural Studies emphasis at the University of California, San Diego, where they also earned a Master of Arts in Literature.  They hold a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Creative Writing from the University of California, Merced.  They currently serve as an English Instructor at 黑料正能量 and a substitute teacher at Upper Lake High School, bringing several years of experience in higher education and dual enrollment instruction.  Their work centers on teaching composition, critical thinking, and creative writing, with a focus on inclusive, student-centered pedagogy, facilitating engaging discussions, and supporting students' development as confident, adaptable writers.
